Baked wheat crackers are crispy and tasty. They are ideal to binge as snacks with a cup of tea.

Ingredients
1cupwhole wheat flour
1tbspsemolina
1tablespoonyoghurt
1/4teaspoonbaking soda
2tablespoonoil
1/2tablespoonflax seed
1teaspoonchilli powder
1teaspooncumin powder
1/4teaspoonturmeric powder
a pinch of asafoetida
water
Instructions
In a wide bowl add the ingredients except water. Mix them well with fingers to get a crumbly texture.
Add little water and knead to a stiff dough.
Take a ball of the dough, roll into a thin chapati.
Cut into squares. You can cut them in any desired shape.
Pre-heat the oven.
Line the baking tray with a sheet, arrange the crackers and bake for the required time. I need only seven minutes to bake a batch of them.
Repeat for the rest of the dough.
Once cool, store in an air tight container.
Recipe Notes
Baking time and temperature settings differs with each oven. Know your model and set the time. The temperature setting is usually at 170 degree centigrade.
