Grilled Paneer Slabs
Grilled paneer slabs are tasty and easy to make. They are healthier as they are not deep fried.

Ingredients

bread

packet
paneer (cottage cheese)

onion finely chopped
1/2
teaspoon
pepper powder
1/2
teaspoon
chaat masala
2
teaspoon
chilly powder
coriander chopped
salt to taste
Other ingredients
butter for smearing
ghee for roasting
tomato ketchup for serving
Instructions
Put the paneer in hot water for five minutes. Later, put it in a colander.
Trim the edges of the bread. Keep them aside.
Crumble the paneer in a wide bowl. Add all other ingredients (except the bread slices) and mix them.
Take a bread slice, and smear a little butter. Put a spoonful of filling on one side. Take the other end over it and seal it with a little water.
Repeat for a couple more of bread slices.
Heat a skillet, put the stuffed bread pieces on it. Smear some ghee over them.
Roast on a medium flame until golden in colour. Flip it to the other side. When golden, remove and serve with tomato ketchup.
Notes
Adjust chilly powder as per the required taste.
Applying butter is optional. You may avoid it.
Oil may be used for roasting but there will be a change in taste.
A mixture of oil and ghee may be used for roasting.
