Choco Vanilla Kulfi

A two-in-one kulfi which is irresistible.

Ingredients

  • 1 litre full fat milk
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tbsp chopped nuts
  • 2 tsp grated chocolate
  • 1 tbsp chocolate syrup

Instructions

  • Take milk in a thick bottom pan and boil for some time.
  • Add sugar, give a stir and continue to boil for another ten minutes. The quantity should be reduced to three-fourth.
  • Divide the milk equally in two pans.
  • In one pan, add cocoa powder and mix well. Boil for five minutes. Remove and keep it aside to cool.
  • In the other pan, add vanilla essence and nuts. Boil for five minutes and allow to cool.

To asemble the kulfi

  • Take a kulfi mould and pour chocolate kulfi to half its volume. Sprinkle some chocolate powder and allow to set for one hour.
  • Pour vanilla kulfi over it, sprinkle some grated chocolate and drizzle some syrup over it.
  • Set in the freezer for three hours

Notes

Adding of syrup is optional, but it tasted great. The syrup was concentrated i n the middle of it.
