    This chutney powder stays good for a long time, more than a month. It is essential to keep it closed in an air tight container. Remember, the jar has to be clean and dry while storing.

    Many uses of Garlic chutney powder are :

    • It is used along with idly as an extra accompaniment.
    • Spread over dosa with a dollop of butter for the extra zing.
    • Use it along with sandwich.
    •  Mix with hot rice along with a dollop of ghee for a different variety of taste.

    Ingredients
    Servings: teaspoon
    Instructions
    1. Cut the coconut into thin strips.
    2. Roast it lightly on a medium flame. You get a good aroma once it is done.
    3. Put it on a wide plate.
    4. Add oil to the pan and roast the chilly powder.
    5. Grind all ingredients together.
    6. Store in an air tight container.

    Adjust the chilly powder to your preference. Use less if you want it mild.
