Vanilla pudding, how to make vanilla pudding

Summer has begun to show its colours. It’s time to bring all our dessert recipes on roll again. Why not try something different this season? Vanilla pudding is delicious and easy to make dessert. It can be made easily.

This vanilla pudding is vegetarian  version where I have used agar agar.

Vanilla Pudding

  • Preparation time:10 min
  • Setting time: 2 hours
  • Serves: 4

Ingredients:

  • 250 ml whole fat milk
  • 1 tbsp condensed milk
  • 1/2 tbsp fresh cream
  • tbsp cornflour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon agar agar
  • 5 drops vanilla essence
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon almond slivers.

Method :

  1. Take milk in a pan and boil it.
  2. Add condensed milk and fresh cream, keep stirring.
  3. Add sugar to it . Stir it.
  4. Take water in a pan and warm it. Mix agar agar to it and keep it aside.
  5. Mix cornflour with a little water to a paste.
  6. Slowly mix into the milk, no lumps should be formed.
  7. Add vanilla essence to it. Remove from flame and keep it aside.
  8. Put agar agar into it and give a stir.
  9. Put it into bowls and keep aside for sometime.
  10. It will soon set. Decorate with grated chocolate and almond slivers.
  11. Keep it in the refrigerator and serve.

Vanilla pudding is one of the tastiest and easiest desserts to make. An all time favourite of children, I have garnished with grated chocolate and dry fruits.

Ingredients

  • 250 ml full fat milk

  • 1 tbsp corn flour
  • sugar
  • vanilla essence
  • agar agar
  • cooking chocolate grated
  • almond slivers
  • 1 +1 tbsp water

Instructions

  • Take milk in a pan and boil it.
  • Add condensed milk and fresh cream to it. Keep stirring.
  • Now add sugar  to it
  • Meanwhile, warm a little  water in a pan. Put agar agar to it and keep it aside
  • Mix cornflour in water and mix it into milk.
  • Let cook for sometime. Add vanilla essence.
  • Remove from flame.
  • Add agar agar mixed in water to it.
  • Put it in serving bowls. Let it set. Decorate with grated chocolate and almond slivers. Keep it in the refrigerator and serve.

Notes

  • This is vegetarian version.
  • For topping, you may use cashews or any other nuts.
  • Tastes good when chilled.
