A refreshing drink for parties and summers, the tangy,zesty, sweet, love this cool drink. Mint ginger cooler is another kind of mocktail which is easy to make and healthy.
Lemons are wonderful to make a range of lemonades. They are excellent source of Vitamin C and help in keeping the body hydrated. They are good for the eyes, hair and skin.
Mint is a great appetizer and aids in digestion, nausea and headache. It also helps to fight depression. And ginger among many other things , helps maintain normal blood circulation and aids in absorption of essential nutrients.
.Many people boil the sugar and some quantity of water, then the whole mint leaves and ginger pieces are just put into it. Later, they add more water to it. But, I have made it slightly different.
I have put the ground mixture of mint and ginger into the sugar solution. This gives more flavour to the juice.
- For the concentrate :
- sugar 3/4 cup
- water 3 glasses
- ginger 1 inch
- mint leaves 15-20
- lemon 1 big
- black salt 1/4 tsp
- Wash the mint leaves and tap dry on a cloth. Wash the ginger and scrub it well. Grind both of them together.
- Take a bowl, add water and mix in the sugar. Put the mint ginger paste, black salt and the lime juice and give a stir. Keep it in the refrigerator for atleast two hours. The flavours of mint infuse with time.
- Later, strain it using a thin metal sieve or strainer.
- Mint ginger cooler is ready to serve.
Water and sugar to make the mocktail.
Add the sugar and give a stir.
Wash the mint leaves and ginger.
Grind them in the small jar of the mixer.
The needed ingredients.
Put them and stir. Refrigerate for two hours, the flavours imbibe with time.
Strain the juice.
Mint Ginger Cooler is ready to serve. Refreshing !
