Fruits are healthy and ideally should be given at the start of the day and what better way than incorporating it in a milkshake. Those reading me regularly, know that I love making these milkshakes. I find that they are not only healthy but can be consumed without any fuss. Moreover, these help to keep going for long hours. Fig milkshake with chocolate sauce is a tasty drink that can be enjoyed by fussy kids. 

Benefits of giving a milkshake are many. It is not only tasty but also healthy  It is  filling and prepared ahead of time. It is chilled, hence loved by kids.

A healthy drink with the tinge of chocolate.
  • Figs 4
  • Cold milk 500ml
  • sugar 1tsp
  • chocolate sauce 2tsp
  • ice cream 1 scoop


  1. Chop three figs into big bites.
  2. Cut one into small pieces and keep aside.
  3. Blend the big chunks woth milk, sugar and icecream.
  4. Pour it in a glass.
  5. Add a few pieces of the chopped fruit and chocolate sauce to it.
  6. Serve it immediately.


To make it vegan, use almond milk and avoid ice cream.[br]To make it less calories, avoid using ice cream.
