Mint Chutney

This green chutney is ideal as an accompaniment with snacks as samosas or cutlets. It can also be used with chapati, idli or dosa as a change from the regular one. Mint chutney in the refrigerator can be a quick fix  solution in emergencies. Do give it a try.

INGREDIENTS :

mint leaves 1/2 cup
coriander leaves 1/2 cup
green chilli 4
salt to taste
lemon juice 1tsp

Mint chutney

Method : 

Wash the mint leaves and coriander leaves well in salt water. Drain and keep aside.Grind all ingredients to a smooth paste. Add lime juice and remove it in a serving bowl.

Take a tip : Mint leaves use them as early as possible, after plucking the leaves
