Coconut chutney is more a necessity with south indian breakfast as idli and dosa. Here ,is another kind which you will like it.
- grated coconut 2 bowls
- curry leaves a few
- coriander leaves 1/2 sprig
- dalia split powder 1/2 bowl
- tamarind pulp 1 tbsp
- salt to taste
Dry roast the coconut with curry leaves. Add a little oil and roast the green chillies. when cool, grind all ingredients with sufficient quantity of water. Remove in a bowl. Make seasoning and add to it.
This method can be applied to coconut gratings left in the refrigerator. It gives a fresh taste.
