Tomatoes are abundantly available. Oh! these are my favourite,I can spin a whole lot of dishes with it. Here is a tomato chutney, just for you. Make sure it is spicy to adhere to your taste buds
red tomatoes half kg
chilli powder 2tbsp
oil for seasoning 1tbsp
mustard seeds 1/2tsp
asafoetida a pinch
turmeric powder 1/4tsp
Take oil in a kadai and add the mustard seeds, asafoetida and turmeric powder. Add the cut tomatoes into it when they crackle and splutter. Allow to cook till done. Add salt and chilli powder. Cook till oil seperates. Tomato chutney is ready, serve with chapati or any other roti.
